The Argentine U17 team earned its first victory, winning 4-1 against Bolivia in the Group B of U17 Sudamericano 2015 championship, and kept their hope alive to qualify for the final stage
Bolivia took the lead with Bruno Miranda’s surprising goal after 20 minutes. The youngster opened the scoring after placing the left side of goalkeeper Petroli.
However, the joy was not going to last much for the Bolivian team, the Argentineans reacted and their actions matched their opponent with a goal from striker Thomas Conechny, at 33 minutes. In a luxurious individual play, midfielder Pablo Ruiz extended their lead at 45 + 3 on the final play of the half.
Then in the second half, Coyette Lucas brought in the third score for the Argentineans at 63 minutes and finally Pablo Ruiz sealed the win another score in the extended time (90 + 3).
Argentina had lost their first two matches against Ecuador and Uruguay (both 2-1). With the win, Argentina added its first three points in the championship.
Bolivia, meanwhile, who had been defeated in the first round by Uruguay, grabbed three points in the second game by defeating Chile 3-2 on Sunday. Bolivia also stand in the table with three points with this defeat
Argentina will play their fourth match on Saturday against Chile in Capiatá
